DEATH STRANDING: Director’s Cut on PC is the best version of Kojima’s creation
March 30, 2022Video game auteur Hideo Kojima and his team are delighted with the reaction to DEATH STRANDING, but they want to get the game into as many hands as possible.
“The game has been highly praised by many people who have played DEATH STRANDING over the past two years, who have found it to be a unique experience,” said Yoshikazu Matsuhana, the game’s producer. “We are very pleased to see that the game has achieved exactly what Hideo Kojima and his team wanted to deliver to the world in terms of storytelling and gameplay.”
And that’s where DEATH STRANDING: Director’s Cut on PC comes in. The Director’s Cut leap to computer brings with it new tools and equipment for players to experience, a firing range, racetrack, extra missions, and more story.
Most notably, the new Ruined Factory location is a treacherous underground compound packed with fresh dangers. Melee combat in the game has also been supercharged with enhanced moves like the dropkick, and–of course–the game features improved graphics empowered by new tech.
“We want to bring this experience to as many people as possible who have not yet played the game,” Matsuhana said. “This game is a perfect example of what we have prepared for that purpose.”
